Spreading rollers for flat foils
USE
Spreading (banana) rollers are used for removal of folds and overlaps on foils.
FUNCTION
Spreading rollers are provided with a ground rubber coat. The rollers are installed into the line, as close to the axis of final winding as possible. According to setting of the angle of loading of the flat formation onto concave side of the roller any folds on the whole area, in the middle and on margins can be rectified. The rollers are delivered as free running, driven by the advancing formation or by a motor. Ends of the rollers are seated in clamping heads with mechanical setting of the foil loading angle.
ADVANTAGES
In-line installation possible; removal of folds immediately before winding, cutting, etc.
